Weary

Shrouded and cloaked the weary walk upon the road of difficulty.

their eyes fall toward the ground and their hearts lose sight off all

to gain the sight of eternity.

The sun is setting upon their backs,

constraining them to a willing exile--

constraining them to everlasting hope.

(the Eyes of God will guide them into Paradise.)



From barreness we will rise,

Into the rebirth--

Into Christ.



Lord, we shall enter your Kingdom by Your grace

And by Your love.

Though we may suffer,

Nothing can sever us from You,

For You are our Life and Light.

Eternal, Strengthen us in Your Will!

For where can we go for refuge?

Who shall guide us through the drought and storm?



Deliver us from our adveraries, O Lord.

According to your grace, strengthen us against evil.

Heal us from our wounds,

And so bind us to You and to Your love.

Freedom

Forever the seasons endure,

The soul, life strains in motion

towards freedom--towards God.

Isles

In this dream we cannot stay.

In hollow glows and darkened day,

there is a hope for us now made,

beyond the shadows,

beyond this grey.


One life to live in narrow straights,

Walking alone in hand of fates.

New life, a desperate thought,

For many walk in flames-their hope is naught.


We must walk while there is still day and light.

ignoring the voices of the dead,

we must take flight,

Keeping perpetually in our sight,

the One who has bled and banished the night.


You hold life in your sacred name,

and in us You live.

Forever new, forever the same.

we hold the breath you give,

we shall not now be ashamed!
